Freestyle is offering young people aged 13 to 19 years the opportunity to develop their skills in radio broadcasting.

Radio broadcasting

From technical to presenting skills, you will learn everything you’ll need to know to produce and present your very own weekly radio show.

You will then join a pool of young people who meet every Saturday from 11am - 1pm to script, present and produce the weekly Find Your Talent – freestyle radio show.

You will have the opportunity to discuss a range topics, meet and interview lots of people and go out and about to cover live and local events.

Following the recent announcement of funding cuts by the coalition Government, the Find Your Talent –PUSH pilot programme will be coming to an end in September 2010.

The Find Your Talent-PUSH freestyle programme and associated creative projects are now winding down. We will continue to operate this website and update on creative projects that you can get involved in.

We would like to thank all of you for your commitment, creativity and enthusiasm; which has been vital to the work and development of Find Your Talent over the last eighteen months.

It is important that your experiences and talents do not go un-noted, so why not contact your local MP via http://www.theyworkforyou.com and tell him/her about your fantastic experiences with Find Your Talent-PUSH.

Find Your Talent is a Government initiative to give children and young people the chance to try out different cultural activities. The scheme is being run in 10 pathfinder areas and offers every young person a sustained engagement of five hours a week of quality arts and culture both in and out of school, whatever their age and whatever their ability.
